The concert also features sparkling orchestral showpieces, the lush, cinematic magic of The Wizard of Oz, and music by trans film composer Angela Morley. QUO’s principal woodwinds take center stage in a flashy concerto, and the orchestra performs a New York premiere by Matthew Nell, winner of the orchestra’s 2026 Vanguard Composer Competition.
